8 cups spelt fliur
1 1/3 cups pumpkin puree
1/3 cup liquid sweetener (maple syrup, agave, honey, etc)
4 tsp yeast
1 cup warm water
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp salt
4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup dried fruit or nuts
Dissolve yeast in warm water mixed with sweetener; let bubble and foam.
Mix oil, pumpkin pure, eggs, salt, and spices.
Add flour in batches, mix well, add water if needed
turn dough on floured surface and knead briefly. Let rise.
Shape each dragon on a parchment lined bake sheet. Form body part separately then put together. Decorate with sliced almond scales, slivered almond toenails, fruit eyes, etc
Bake 20-25 minutes
