My LO is due at the end of April and like many others I have put on more weight than I expected. I was just wondering, I know you lose a certain amount after baby is born but did (and when) did your body actually settle at its post pregnancy weight? Does it even do this or do you slowly start to get back into shape over time or does your body settle at a weight which needs diet and exercise to lose?
I didn't gain too much in pregnancy around 21 pounds give or take and instantly lost about 12 pounds after he was born. He weighted 7lb7oz at birth. Within 1 week I lost another 6 pounds doing nothing. I'm trying to shift the last 2 pounds but thats cause I breastfeed all day long and eat nothing but fast food and cookies! My body went down in size very fast!
