Should i complain?? NUK BOTTLES ***UPDATED THEY ARE FAULTY***
As some of you know i have been having a few problems with Alex feeding lately, i normally use the tommie tippie CTN bottles but thought that maybe an orthidontic teat would help so got a NUK bottle.
i had 5 oz of water in the tommie tippie and emptied it into the NUK bottle and it said 4 1/2 oz
i tried this amount in the avent and dr brown bottles and it said 5oz
so its not the tommie tippie ones
i know 1/2 oz isnt much but alex can have up to 8 bottles a day and thats 4 oz difference.

My name is Leanne i am a registered Midwife and Also a proud new mummy, i just wanted to highlight a problem which i have picked up on one of your bottles.
My son has been having problems feeding, due to early teething we use a variety of bottles for him .
i had my tommie tippie set sterilised but thought i would use your nuk bottle as this would proberly fit in his mouth better , i poured the 5oz of water from the tommie tippie into the nuk bottle that i had and it only measured 4 1/2 oz. i thought that this was very strange so did it again ....same result.
i then tried the 5oz water in my dr brown and avent bottles which were both correct and then a measuring jug. They were all correct and measured 5oz but your bottle still said 4 1/2oz.
I Then tested it with a glass nuk bottle that i had this was CORRECT 5oz
So i dont know wether it is just this kind of bottle or not
i understand that 1/2 oz is not alot but my son can have up to 8 bottles a day so this is a difference of 4 oz a day = 28oz a week
which is a massive difference!!!!
i have included some photos to show the problem, but i must say i am quite disapointed and normally i like your bottles but am reluctant to buy / recommend anymore.
Hope you can rectify this problem

Thank you for your email. Nicky (the shop manager) is away on holiday so this has been passed onto me (NUK Brand Manager). I am quite shocked that you have found an irregularity in our bottle measurements. This issue will be dealt with immediately and I will be able to get back to you with an answer shortly.
Our head office is in Germany and this is also where the bottles are made, so the best thing for me to do would be to send these bottles and your email to them to test.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused and I do hope we come to a conclusion on this.
As the glass bottles measured right, I would like to send you two complimentary bottles for you to use in the meantime.

Can you test the bottles and send to Germany I think the customer is correct. I've left bottles on your desk to test
