Follow on milk??

Ellie is now 8.5months and is on Aptamil stage 1. Is there any need to change to the follow on mike or is it fine to give her the same one all the way through?? x

Hi hun, if she's ok with it & taking around 18-21 oz with her solids there is no need to switch, We had to switch at around 8 mnths as Omar was on anti reflux formula & was off his fomula. When we switched he liked the follow on more. xx

there is no need unless your LO needs the extra vits & mins! In the case of most people, its a con, for a few its recommended for example when i was a baby i weighed 17lb at 12months so it was suggested i go onto a follow on milk to 'bulk up' x
