best bottle warmer?

Can anyone recommend a really good bottle warmer which is a) quick b) easy to use and b) takes MAM anti colic bottles.

Looking to spend no more than around £25ish.

Thanks

Is it just for use in the house? If so... Do you have a microwave?

The general "advice" is to not use a microwave, but plenty of Mums do. The official line has to be "don't do it!" to avoid lawsuits if people aren't sensible about it. As long as you give the bottle a very good swirl (to mix up any hotspots) and then test the temperature, it's absolutely fine.

Can't advise on any "proper" bottle warmers though, as I didn't ever have one.

I'm in the US and I have a Munchkin brand bottle warmer and I love it. It warms a bottle from the refrigerator to the perfect temp in under 5 minutes.

I have a tommee tippee bottle warmer and it's rubbish at heating mam anti colic bottles. The plastic on those bottles is really thick so they take ages to heat. Also, it's no good for heating the 260ml size bottle as it's quite shallow (but I believe most other bottle warmers are too). Avoid it! Since using mam bottles I've been using a good old fashioned jug with boiling water in it, works great and doesn't take too long. Sorry, not much help lol! I haven't been brave enough to use my microwave yet, but I might just try it...

It's trial and error with the microwave to get the temp right, but Francesca is on 5oz bottles and it takes 40secs to heat a bottle up in our microwave which is 800w. If its too cold just pop it back in for another 5secs, too hot and you can hold it under the cold tap to cool it down. Like Eala says just make sure you give the bottle a good shake to distribute the heat properly (sorry if that sounds too obvious!).

We have the tommee tippee bottle warmer to use upstairs overnight too - I refuse to trudge up and downstairs in the middle of the night to use the microwave lol. It's ok and does the job but I wouldn't know how it works with the MAM bottles we use CTN bottles.

microwave for me!

I can remember buying a bottle warmer when I had my 1st LO, I'm not sure how I thought they worked but when I found out that they do EXCTLY the same as a jug of hot water, I've always wondered why people even bother buying them!?
