Yes i put the whole lot in. for the 30 secs that it is there it doesnt get hot enough to burn or melt anythingx

how long do you microwave a bottle with 5oz in?

Depends on the microwave I microwave 5oz for 1 minute at home, 30 seconds at my mums and 40 secs at my mum in laws, they are all same wattage but they just vary x x

Obviously depends on the power of you microwave and how warm LO likes their milk. I would start at about 20 secs and then just ping it for another 5 secs at a time until it's right. Mine is 800w and I used to ping a 5oz bottle for 35secs. We are on 6oz bottles now so it's 45secs for us.

I don't know with other milks but with SMA the froth almost disappears within half a minute xx

I microwave 5ounces for about 40seconds as LO likes her quite hot. For 7 ounces I do 50seconds. I take the teat and lid off then put it back on and really shake!
