Gave my baby Aptimil first milk and...

After not pooping the first day she literally pooped for England the second. In fact she pooped more often than she did when she was BF and she was pooping once per feed!

I checked her temperature which was ok and the poohs were very much like breast milk poohs and not like diarrhoea.

I know looser and more frequent poohs are relatively normal with Aptimil but this is something else.

Do you think it's not agreeing with her or is this just a settling in thing? Surely it's not normal?!?!

(she hasn't actually pooped between her last two feeds so fingers crossed it was settling in...)

She is probably just getting used to it.

My lo had been on aptimal for about 3 weeks when she started pooping like crazy at every feed. Both the hv & I came to the conclusion that it was just her tummy getting used to the formula. It has stopped again & she is back to going once every few days now.

Thanks. Spoke to my HV today and she said the same so fingers crossed it will just settle down x
