My 13 week old seems fine in all respects but she Wont have her milk. She on Cow n gate 1 formula. She normally has between 4-7 oz every 4 hours. Since satdi she will only have 2oz max at a time n then just pushes teat out mouth n won't latch on. Like I said apart from that she's fine. Not crying. Not hot etc. I have been off n had a sore throat n cold so maybe she has? What do I do?
Just keep topping her up when she needs it hun, maybe teething or just having an off couple of days my LO does that, spoke to HV she just said she will only drink when shes hungry but if she was like it for a couple of weeks then to go back. x
This is Tristan at the moment, I have put it down to teething (lots of dribble, eating of hands/anything possible, super hard gums & sharp piece on gum bless him) and the weather as it is so warm at the moment.
If it continues I am going to try the next size teat & cross my fingers!
I've got the same problem with my LO. She's been drinking less an less over the last couple of weeks. Now only takes between 2 and 3oz each feed. Keeps being sick a lot too. Took her to the doctors earlier but they didn't seem worried as she's fine apart from that. Thought I'd try some baby rice today to see if that would tempt her but she wasn't impressed with it at all!
