My LO has a seemingly insatiable appetite lately! She began increasing a few of her daytime feedings this past week to every hour or 1.5 hrs., 2-3 oz. at a time. At her doc appt. the other day, the doc said she should be eating more like every 3 hrs, or even 2 but not every hour. But she keeps wanting more--tonight LO ate 3 oz. then 20 min. later 2 oz. more. I try everything to delay her (paci, etc.) but that just makes her hungrier and she sucks on the bottle like she hasn't eaten in days, poor thing.
Am I maybe not offering her enough at each feeding? I just can't imagine her little tummy fitting more at a time at barely 2.5 weeks old!
my son is 4wks this sat but this past wk he's been takeing 180ml/6oz, he does leave the extra 30ml some feeds but most of them he'll just leave around 10ml, he gen goes 3-4hrs between feeds but a few days here and there he'll only go 2hrs, he's a little piggy!!
yes PAgal do that, i thought 180ml was way to much to give to a 3-4wk old but my hv said just feed him what he wants as all babies are different! i sometimes think he's gonna pop whith the full amount but if i try to withhold it he goes bonkers lol!!
my daisy is 3 weeks old today and she has 3-4oz every 3-4 hours. but she seems to like little and often like sometimes will take her a few hours to get through 3 oz so im feeding her every 20 mins sometimes xx
