Moving on from Comfort Milk

LO is on Cow and Gate Comfort at the moment and we started it because he found it very difficult to adjust to formula and had awful reflux and stomach pains with bad constipation. A couple of months ago he was prescribed Infant Gaviscon for his reflux though I haven't switched him back to normal formula as I'm scared his tummy pains will come back, though the new milk didn't actually help his constipation. Now that he's being weaning I'm wondering if maybe he doesn't need comfort milk anymore but I don't want to hurt his little tummy by changing and it not agreeing with him

Has anyone switched to normal milk or follow on milk from comfort milk at 6 months or later and what happened?

Hi there, a friend of mine uses comfort milk for her lo, tried to change when he began solids but it really didn't agree with him at all so she changed back and he is fine again. Every baby is different though so your lo may not have these problems at all xx

We kept DS on it until he was one then switched to Aptimil follow on with no problems. You could maybe try a few of the ready made cartons to see how he goes, otherwise just stick with it?
