Help! New to FF!

Hi ladies! I am introducing some formula to LO but I have no idea on making up bottles! There is no way she will wait 30 mins for kettle to cool (and she has no set routine), can I use boiling water, is it just a safety precaution them telling you to cool it a bit or might it damage the powder?

Thanks

The jury is still out on this one. Some people say its just to avoid scolding and other people say that it can destroy certain nutrients in the powder.

Your best bet is to either use ready made cartons or pre-make and store a whole days worth of bottles.

To premake just make up your bottles using the guide on the back, then rapid cool them in a basin of water for 10-15 mins, then store them in the fridge (not in the door compartment) for up to 24 hours. When lo needs a feed just take a bottle out of the fridge and warm up in a bowl of hot water or bottle warmer. I wouldnt suggest microwaving but lots of women do do it on here with no probs. xx
