When did your lo drop to 4 bottles in 24 hours?

Willow is essentially rubbish at feeding in general, survival of the fittest wouldn't have been kind to her, so I find it difficult to follow her lead.

She doesn't cry for Food during the day, only first thing in the morning, and will happily go 5+ hours during the day without a bottle (I experimented one day to see if she would cry for food, and I gave in before her!)

she doesn't wake in the night for food either (I know...lucky me, sorry!)

So I have to choose when to feed her. I was giving her 5 bottles a day, making up 6oz at a time and she would leave some of it most the time, taking about 22oz/24hours.

I now give her 4 bottles, offering her 7oz a time, and she takes 22-24oz in 24 hours.

What age did you drop to 4 bottles a day?
Des anyone else have a baby who isn't interested in feeding? How do you decide what to give and when?

12 weeks. Omar was the same, he never cried for bottles & he slept through very early. I had to schedule his feeds. He was on 5 oz bottles & his average was 18-20 oz at 3 months, his maximum was 24 oz at 4+ months when he started to drink 6 oz bottles.

DD2 has only gone to 4 bottles in the last week, so just under 8 months xx

My daughter is 15 weeks and I think she will be down to 4 bottles pretty soon. She had an 11 hour stretch last night and went from 6pm to 5am without a feed.

We haven't yet, and Breanna 4 1/2 months. She still needs 5-6 bottles (or more) per day. As of last week, she didn't even weight 13 lbs yet. She gets about 30-36 oz of formula per day.

Thanks ladies, makes me feel a bit better, the health visitors sometimes make me feel like I'm starving her, but she's doing all the right nappy things and putting on weight ok although she's little, at still under 11lbs at 12 weeks.

At around 4months my LO went to 4 bottles, now im struggling to get her to have her 4th bottle since I started to wean her

I started to give DS 4 bottles around 5 months. At the time I was giving him about 8oz a bottle. But now that he eats solids it is down to 6oz. He also gets about 5 tablespoons of solids at 3 of his meals.
