Anyone breast feed for around 6 weeks then swap to fully formula feeding??

As the title says really? How easily did your baby take to it? Did they seem to be more settled? I love breast feeding Brody I really do but it's all I seem to do. He never sleeps anywhere except in my arms during the day,not even in his pram. I feel like I have no time for my poor 2 year old

Any experiences/advice greatly appreciated

I switched to 100% ff at 7 weeks and everything was so much easier, It was like a big weight has been lifted and my lo was easier to manage as he got into a really good routine x They say that if you make it to 6 weeks, a light switches on and it becomes easier, but I'm not sure that's true!

I changed at almost 6 mnths which I did gradually swapping one feed a day for a bottle and then agree days later stopped another feed and do on so i didn't get mastitis but it was still uncomfortable. My DS wasn't any different in himself or sleeping better but when I started weaning him he did sleep better at night. Don't give up unless you really want to incase you'll regret it afterwards

Things tend to improve at the 6 week mark. Those first weeks are hard, I think irrespective of feeding method.

My little one was exactly 6 weeks old when I switched. He took to a bottle really well. At first he was a little unsure what it was but as soon as he got it in his mouth he was well away. Did not mind one bit so don't worry do what is right for you and try not to let any health advisor pressure you into breast feeding if it's not what you want.
