Thats one reason but it's also because straight cows milk before 1 can cause anaemia, one the composition of the milk is not modified to be easier to digest like formula and so can cause microscopic intestinal bleeding that over time can cause a serious issue, also because of the composition of straight cows milk it can impede iron being absorbed from other foods. After one year very few babies will experience any issues xx

have you tried mixing breast milk with formula? Maybe you can mix and slowly lesson the breast milk until your lo is use to it. I would have to say no to the cows milk until after 12 months for what summer rain said and cuz your lo does still need the nurtition too

We used coconut milk it worked a treat with our boob snob!
