when should i make the transition?

My lil one is 3 weeks and I will be going back to work in about one month which means he will need a bottle. I bought one tommee tippee (however you spell it) because I done want a bunch of bottles laying around and I really done want to use it unless I have to, like while I'm at work. I don't even want to use that one.

But my question is, is when should I start pumping and how much should I pump? I work Friday-sunday12he shifts. How soon before I work should I introduce the bottle and how often should I give it to him? I LOVE bf and don't want anything to go wrong so a little advice would be nice. Thanks!

You'll need more than one bottle, unless LO is only going to be having one feed while you're at work! For a 12hr shift your baby will need to be fed at least 4 times in that period so 4 bottles would be best otherwise whoever is looking after the baby is going to be constantly washing and drying all day!

This is best asked in the BF section tbh hun
