Deleting subscriptions help please??

Every time I post on a thread its added to my subscriptions. Is there a quick way to delete them all rather than page by page and I currently have about 2500 of them and its taking forever to try and get rid of 50 odd pages.

Also, is there a way to choose if something is added or not rather than them just automatically being added?

Many thanks

I'm not sure about whether there's a quick way to delete them all or not. I doubt it as if there were it'd probably show on the screen in the subscribed post bit.

However your profile must have been accidentally set to automatically subscribe you to all threads you create or post in. To fix this do the following:

Go to user cp (it's at the top on the left)
Along the left side click on 'Edit Options'
In Default Thread Subscription Mode click on the little box and put it on 'do not subscribe'
Go down the bottom and save changes

This should stop any more subscriptions being made (unless you want to make some manually on a thread) so then it's just unfortunately a case of deleting all the others bit by bit.

Hope this helps xxx

You can also go to User CP > View All Subscriptions (bottom left corner) > then click and delete them in batches like you can with PMs.
