I have made a big boo boo on eBay :,(

I bought this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EMELI-SAND...0b2d9971#rpdId

and I stupidly thought it was for 2 tickets and it says 1. They are due to arrive today.

And now I read that they won't accept returns

Can they do that?

I think you should be covered by the distance selling regs and be able to cancel the purchase, not 100% whether tickets are exempt from this but it's worth a go. Business sellers can't say no returns. But when you send them back you need to send them Special delivery so you have tracking in case they claim not to have received them back.

It is a business seller I think, but they are not covered under the DSR

Can i just refuse to sign for them ?

That's gutting. Me and OH wantet to go but tickets are going for ridiculous prices. Surely if you refuse to sign they'll have to refund when they get returned to seller?

If the tickets state anything like they're non-transferrable or not for resale you might be able to open a case on that basis. It seems wrong that they can sell them for more than double face value.
