Just mirroring everybody's replies, if it came to divorce everything you both own is counted as joint property and is split equally, the judge would give you possession of the house as main carer for the children, he may say that when your children leave education that the house then be sold and split between you.
What kind of work is he doing? Do you think if his business suddenly took off that he would be a changed man and spend the next 50 years giving you and your children all his time and attention and thank you daily for sticking by him when he was trying to get things off the ground? or is he just changed with no way back? It would be sad to think that with the pressure off that a family had been split. Is there anything you can do to get involved in the business? x
I have no advice at all but just massive hugs - my oh is very similar although in credit to him he wouldn't forget our sons birthdays. This time last year I looked seriously into getting a divorce but was so over whelmed by it all I couldn't face it. I hope you have people around to support you x x
