I dont know if I am popular of not lol, somethings I post can get as little as 1-2 likes and others can get 100 odd, my most popular recent post was when I posted a photo of my son and his girlfriend with their newborn son, it got 162 likes. I have 166 friends.

Interesting thread. I have about 680 friends.

I'm a bit of a social activist.. if I post a petition, article or something related to social justice, I usually get about 2-5 likes.

If I post a photo of my travels, me, food, or something with regards to life (not including my daughter) I end up with usually 30 likes.

If I post a photo of my daughter, get 50-100 likes!

Funny how it works like that.

Lol. I only have 60 friends and have been contemplating narrowing that down.

My posts probably average 10-20 likes but my Facebook is pretty private and I don't post a lot except pics of my girls.

I only have 30 or so friends on Facebook. I tend to only have people I actually see or speak too regularly not people I used to go to school or work with and haven't spoken to or seen for years. I kind of like to keep my life private. Plus like another's poster I found I kept comparing and it made me a bit miserable TBH.
When I do post something nearly all my friends/family like or comment because we're in touch one way or another. :-)

My Facebook is now an array of those I've met here and girls from the pole fitness community. I find the most likes come from things like my professional pole photos, anything from 30-100 likes and im like wtf

What is funny though, is seeing the friends that dont like those pics...

To be fair, it really boils down to who you have on Facebook and what shared interests you have.

I have been on fb for 9 years (I can't actually believe it's been that long, I didn't realise until I had to think about it) and I have I think fewer than 150 friends. I can't remember a precise number but I don't talk to most of them! They are mostly from school.
I don't usually see many likes for my photos and I rarely post videos. I tend to see more likes for photos of my husband and I together, the children and when I post their birthday cakes if I made them myself (they seem to have a thing for homemade).
I don't see many likes for my statuses, despite the fact I seem to amuse myself...

I don't like Facebook. It has an uncomfortable interface for me, besides the owners of it are too obsessed with safety, I always feel a bit nervous when I comment or post smth there because admins like to block users' pages without any serioes reason

It annoys me when they get rid of photos of mums breastfeeding. That gets to me.
It's sometimes awkward when a friend comments the opposite of how you feel about a subject, when you have strong opposing views which sometimes make you call into question why you're friends. In recently deleted my sister and her boyfriend because she is such a negative influence I don't need, and I don't talk to him except for when he attempted to argue with me about racism and stuff. They don't like that I refuse to conform and she thinks it's acceptable to be judge and jury over our lives, therefore I would prefer it if they weren't able to see what I post because it isn't their business
