I get my ctc weekly, on a Tuesday. I aready got them for this week, and have received another payment today (for my normal amount)
Im pretty sure thereare no bAnk holidays next week, so is it an extra payment? Anyone else received extra this week?

I havent recieved one but with the tax year changing they may have given you an extra payment as you may have been owed some money when theyve reviewed your claim. X

I called them and it is an extra payment, although they will be reducing my weekly payments to cover it. Seems a bit pointless!
Not complaining though, I won't miss £4 a week but the extra payment is nice!

I received an extra payment too but £2 less than normal so was abit confused. Annoying that they pay us extra then ask for it back if they think we've been over paid.x

I have got more too for some reason. Seems to be in with the main amount rather than as a second payment?

if you make an online account with hmrc you can see what your next payment will be, mine went down and i only knew my next payment would be the same from logging on there

I phoned today and an automated message said that the extra payments are normal and won't affect your usual tax credits payments
