I have to avoid Joe Browns or I spend a fortune www.joebrowns.co.uk ... otherwise I try not to go over 50 on any clothes I top up. I also buy in sales in advance.

With the kids I tend to pick up bits as and when I see them and then do a bulk shop twice a year (Autumn/winter and spring/summer) it's a bit easier now as two of the girls are in school uniform the majority of the time so need a lot less other clothes.

For me I do the same but try not to spend more than 200 on a bulk shop for the seasons change.
