Holiday locations for a long weekend away?

Not in the UK ...

So at 37 I have my first passport... I am petrified of flying. I've been doing Liverpool to Belfast over the last handful of years which is a quick easy flight and you don't need a passport but I hate it

Thinking before I venture too far (I would *love* to go to NYC) maybe a long weekend away on a short flight would be best.

Do you lovelies have any suggestions?

x

There are plenty of places in Europe that would be wonderful for a long weekend. Amsterdam and Paris are both a quick flight. If you don't mind something a little longer, I much prefer Lisbon and Barcelona, but both maybe an hour or so further? Munich or other places in Germany are great for the Christmas markets if you're looking to go soon.

1-2 hour flight is probably ideal... pref 1

You'd think that skydive would have helped with the fear!

I went to Paris when I was about 5ish weeks pregnant and loved every minute! It’s a breeze on the plane. Did it by coach (8 hours ) a few years ago and even that wasn’t horrific

Berlin. I think it's my favourite city, haven't been in years but grew up there and miss it so much. Loads to do and amazing Xmas markets.
