Birthday Gift

DD1 has been invited to her first school party since starting receipting !

It's for a little boy who is turning five . Now as I have girls I have no idea what a five year old boy would like these days . I don't know his parents so wouldn't really be comfortable asking them what we should buy .

Anyone recommend anything . Max budget £10 or less without it looking cheap lol

Thanks !

I generally give:
Orchard Toys games
Activity books and a pen/pencil/Sharpie set
Lego set
Playdough set
Craft kit (sew your own hand puppet/egg box house, that kind of thing)

We love busy books, they do so many different themes. DD had a whole shelf of them, and plays with them for hours

My 5 year old DS loves Lego and it seems like all of his little friends also love Lego, so it’s a pretty safe bet to give Lego.
