Foundation Brushes

What do you do with yours after you've put foundation on? Do you wash them?

I dont like the idea of using the same dirty brush, but if i wash them will it not mess the bristles up?

Oh Polo Princess, thanks for the tip on moisturising, my skin on my face is like a babys bottom now x

Get makeup cleanser. When youve done with the brush put it in a cup off cleanser and soak it...then rinse and leave to dry...i sometimes blast mine with the hairdryer if i need it too

Probs get 2 so you can use one while soaking one.

Oh another thing you could use is barbicide..the blue stuff that hairdressers soak combs and stuff in...its cheaper than makeup cleanser and you can get it from hairdressing wholesalers

hope this helps x

I wash mine in shampoo too - so long as you rub it in, in the right direction its leaves the hairs perfect!

Dont use sponges as it soaks up your foundation, you dont have to wash the brush because you're putting foundation onto your clean face, so theres no need to clean, it's just gonna make you go through loads of brushes x

Yeah thats what i thought, which is why i was just washing them with water, but when i went to put my foundation on this morning my brush was still wet, so i may buy a second one. And i think i may use the shampoo tip aswell. Thanks girls xx
