http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Tho...nformation.php

Seatguru sometimes have the info but it varies from plane to plane... anywhere between 30 inches to 50 incches is normal...
You'd probably be best giving them a call to check.

i know the feeling hun i was the same but iam usualy a size 22 and it fit me it was a bit tight but i could put my hand under it just so you prob will get away with it if not just discretly ask for a seat belt extender no one will notice as people are too fussed about putting their bags in the over head lockers or fighting who gets the window seat to notice what your saying to the airstewdess hope you have a good time

aww thanks i am hopin that if i wear like leggings i can maybe lift the fat belly up and have the seat belt under that!! i am mortified! going with inlaws so dont want them seeing me asking for extender, ive never had one before so i am hopin it stays that way!

if anyone else is the same size as me and you have travelled on a plane recently would love ur opinions

i would say it definately depends on the individual aircraft and not the actual airline, if you can find out what you will be flying on you would be able to find out through an aviation site i think
