how much to fill balloons with helium?

how much it costs to fill balloons with helium, i was going to just buy a cannister off ebay and do it myself, but if i went into a party shop, i would be filling 30-40 11inch balloons, so anyone whos even have balloons filled do you have any idea as to how much it will be? i know it wont be the same everywhere but just roughly

cos if it works out dearer i can just get my own from ebay, its for Lilys christening you see.
thankyou!

can i suggest foil balloons rather then the normal blow up

if u are using the blow ups you wanna do it last minute as they tend to go down VERY quick ... foil ones have less holes

The small canisters don't do very much at all, They are rubbish! The helium quality isnt very good either!

Have you bought your balloons already? If not I would just get the shop to do them, can work out sooo much less hassle! They will have to be treated with high float though to last the following day. Or you could ring up a few party shops and find out costs of small canisters for hire.HTH
