Daughters 3rd birthday 20th december what to do?

Its my daughters birthday on 20th December, she had birthday partys for her 1st and 2nd birthday but not many people turned up with it being so close to xmas, so this year i wanted to take her some where for her birthday, just me my oh and lilly, instead of a party, but i dont have a clue what to do that will be open on december 20th and what will be suitable for her age too.

Any suggestions?

Didn't want to read and run, but don't know what you've got around you! Places like sealife (if you have one) are good - indoors in case of bad weather and interesting for little people. Hope you find something!

If you have a zoo or aquarium around, those are almost always open during the holidays.

What about a puppet show? Or childrens theatre?

I know somebody whose child's birthday is 21st december, they have a special family day on the child's birthday or as close to as possible and then have a party later in the year when the child's friends are more likely to be able to go.

local petting zoos/farms? soft play area? indoor teddy bears picnic? messy craft day where you all join in and get messy? see if there are any special kids things going on locally?

was looking at disney on ice but thats only end of november but might check to see if anything good on at theaters that Lilly would be intressted in, i didnt know zoo's and that are open that time of year

i think i just thought they would be closed, will have a look at all the ideas . Thank you
