Sister implant question

My sister also has the implant in she got it in in June. You can see her implant very visable under the skin and at the site of insertation you can see the end of it- it looks like a white head spot on her arm but it's not it's the implant

now she's being sick etc and just wondered the chnces of her being pregnant? She claims she can't have kids as she has pcos and shes refusig to test etc cos she doesn't think she is.

So my question is is it possible she is? And is it normal for je implant to be like that? No one else I know has this problem

Its possible she could be pregnant as no contraception is 100%.I had the implant and I could only see it if I pushed it(gross I know!lol) sounds like its just where the implant went in,as its recent.I have had mine taken out now and I still have the scar from where they put it in.xxx

Yeah mine was the same but you don't gave to push gets it's there and the end of it is poking out?

It's unlikely but not impossible, but the implant is supposed to be one of the most effective forms of contraception. Is she quite thin? That may explain why the implanon is visible. Or it could just be that it wasn't inserted very deeply (mine wasn't the second time).

I would get her to go to the docs(or family planning clinic-thats where they took mine out) just to check they have inserted it right...also,its worth getting a test done.xx

if i poke mine i can see it and ive had
mine in for about 15 months now lol

the implant does give you pregnancy symptoms
it's not 100% effective so there is a
chance she could be, or it might just be the
implant playing tricks on her

either way i say she should test
just in case

No she's about normal a size 10-12. Maybe she's caught a bug, just never heard of it poking out end.

They tell you that you should worry if you can't feel it so it being visible wouldn't bother me. My doctor said the last one she put in was very visable as the patient had requested it to be as near under the skin as possible so it would be easier to take out. People can get pregant on the implant so I'd say she should test as I presume it would have to be taken out asap if she was. Mine also pokes at the end if I touch it, I do it to creep my friend out

lol yeah just hope the god she isnt. Lets just say she wouldnt be happy about it...and on top of everything else atm cant be doing with her

il try and find a google image of what im trying to explain...

its like her implant is falling out at the end?

like you can see the whiteness of the implant at the end (where they put it in) and if you push the white bit it pushes the implant further in?

I was told it was extremely impossible to get pregnant on the implant.

Most annoying thing with the implant is, it gave me false feelings of being pregnant.
I was basically testing everything 6-8wks.

It lasted a year i got it removed.
