Yahoo Answers...

Hey guys,

I'm sure most of us have used or stumbled onto Yahoo Answers. I know when I'm bored or have time to waste, I go on Yahoo Answers and answer questions. Mostly singles and dating.

There have been some silly questions and lots of silly answers. Okay I do admit I have posted some pregnancy questions on there, but since the answers were only one or three (with one being an annoying ad link). I found it a waste of points.

So I'm glad I have come on here to chat to you guys.

Has anyone posted questions on Yahoo Answers? If so what do you think of the site?

I don't think i've ever posted on it, but I usually come across it when i'm trying to find something on google, it's pretty useful that way. my time on the internet is literally 50% bnb & 50% ebay/shopping x

Iv never posted questions on it but when I was pregnant and had alot more time I used to post answers on it mostly about tcc and and early pregnancy.
The site was ok but there was alot of missguided answers or people delibratly being nasty and stupid, as with most things you have to take it all with a pinch of salt and use your own judgment about if an answer is true or not.

I've answered one or two, when the questions being asked were so stupid it was almost dangerous (usually a "go to your doctor" response).

I've seen questions on there to rival another baby forum that used to make me laugh, with stuff like "I did [insert act that can't lead to pregnancy here] am I pregnant?", "I've got my period and everything is normal and I haven't dtd in four months...but could I be pregnant?" or the legendary simple "Could I be pregnate?" with no further explanation, as though everyone reading it is a psychic midwife with the chemical properties of a clearblue stick.

It's worth looking at for the giggles if nowt else (and as a result my OH now refers to me as 'Pregnate' as we both enjoyed people repeatedly misspelling it like this )
