Quick replies needed about what to write on a funeral cake!
My sisters MIL passed away last week after battling with Cancer and originally they wanted me to make her a get well cake, but obviously the C took her before she had it.
Now I know funeral cakes are a bit unusual but the family still asked me to make a cake.
I'll describe how I'm doing it: I'm doing a round cake covered in white icing with "Our Beautiful Rose, Maureen' on the top with a single pink rose, and around the cake I'm doing a large (baby pink) ribbon tied at the front and on the tails is where I want to write something...
The song they are having for her funeral is Gangsters Paradise as this was her all time favourite song, and I mean she played it EVERYDAY! (She was a pretty hip Nan!)
So I thought of a few things to put but just not sure:
1. Forever in your Gangsters Paradise
2. Safe in your Gangsters Paradise
3. Now in heaven, In your Gangsters Paradise
I know it seems a bit weird but i'm hoping it will make them all smile in a nice way and remember the nice things and not that she's gone.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated - THANK YOU!!
