Likelihood of bail? (RE child abuse)

To cut a long story short, someone in OHs family has been remanded on child abuse charges (relating to children within the family) but he has a bail hearing coming up. He has no previous convicitions so some of OH family are worrying he'll be let out on bail. My thinking is that he's a danger to children and whatever bail restrictions they put on him wouldn't mean he would never be around kids so hopefully he'll be remanded again.. what's the likelihood, anyone know?

Depending on how serious the charge. Violence or sexual he probably won't be gvn bail.
If he is. He will not allowed any contact with children, especially the children in question.

He will also probably have a curfew and possibly be tagged and restricted to where he can go.

Hth and

All depends on the case how much Of a risk they think he is to go on the run ect there's been quite a few local cases here and they have all been bailed. If he is bailed he'll prob have bail
Conditions to statmy a certain amount of miles away from
Family and no contact. X

even if they took his passport etc.. they couldn't 100% guarantee he wouldn't be around kids thus putting them at risk, family or not. i'll go beserk if he gets bail! x

i think you should prepare yourself for the likelyhood of bail being granted tbh

we have someone local on bail who is on a murder charge

The case here they were bailed to bail hostels and not allowed in the area just depends how much of a risk they think he is and what his representation says.

If he were released, it would be VERY likely that there would be a stipulation that he cannot be within a certain amount of meters/yards from a minor. If he breaks the stipulation, you could call the police and have his bail revoked and he would have to serve the time between then and his trial in custody.
