extra skin fluid and shading

hi all, my cousin who is not a member has had her 20 week scan today. They have told her that her little boy has shading and extra skin and fluid around his head. They have said that they have never seen this before and I was wondering if anyone knew what this can be? They sent her home and she just has to wait for a phonecall to go back in over the next few days. Thanks guys xcx

Didn't want to read and run. I hope everything turns out ok for your cousin. I haven't heard of this either, except perhaps a form of hydrocephalus?
I have everything crossed for her
