GD/Diabetes Edition: What did you eat today?

I found some great recipes on the mayo clinic diabetes website that might be helpful! http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/dia...ecipes/RE00091

I bought the eat clean diet book, so I've been following some really great recipes!

Breakfast: 2 egg omelet with veggies & small slice wg bread

Snack1: Raw veggie, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, hummus, i slice cheese & 4 wg cracker

Lunch: 1 cup tofu chili & 1 tbsp plain greek yogurt

Snack2: 1/2 Asian pear, 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, slice of cheese

Dinner: Eat clean chicken nuggets & salad

Snack3: 1/2 cup of steel cut oatmeal & milk

Excellent idea for a thread! I get jealous of the trimester threads where chocolate/cake seems to be written post by post

I had today
Blueberry porridge
Cheese sandwich on wholegrain bread
small glass of sugary drink for a hypo - another small sandwich to steady it!
Garlic and herb pasta with chicken

Just had a slice of toast and a cereal bar due to going hypo again x

hellbunny you're getting hypo so often! i've never had it. been close to though with a reading of 4.3.

today i've had:

two pieces of granary bread. (my dietician told me to cut down to one. )
beans on toast.

that's it! not hungry today at all. feeling quite sick to be honest.

Did you have the granary bread with the beans? Maybe thats why she said just have one though when we are pregnant we shouldn't be cutting carbs (this is what my diabetes nurse said)

Today i had
2 slices of cheese on toast - 8.4mmol so high again
Cereal bar and some pop due to it dropping after 2 hours gr!
egg mayo Sandwich for lunch
chicken curry for my tea with naan bread, reading was 5.9mmol (seems novorapid is long acting for me
