Long Term UTI and Low Fluid?

Does anyone know if having a UTI long term would cause low fluid levels? I requested my labs from the hospital today and apparently I had a UTI (moderate bacteria, blood, and white blood cells in urine). My daughter died 4 days later with low fluid levels. The placenta also had mild signs of infection. Could the UTI have caused it?

Also, the hospital told me they only keep stress tests for 2-3 weeks and then get rid of them. That doesn't sound right, how can they get rid of medical records? Does anyone know if that is true or if they just don't want me to see if for some reason?

I'm pretty sure there is a law here in the US that you have to keep medical records for 7 years.
