Low potassium


Hello ive been told I have low potassium and must take an rx pill to bring it up, does anyone know if it harms the baby in anyway? The pill is klor con 20

I would not think that it would harm the baby. It would be more harm if you didn't have the right amount of potassium. It works to help control muscle contractions mostly the heart. too little or too much would be bad. If you get too much most of the time your kidneys just process it out. the 20 isn't a very high dose and I am sure that they will run additional lab to make sure you are in the right range. Besides it is a naturally occuring mineral that is vital for survival.
