25 weeks and 1cm dialated

hey everyone
i just spent 30 hours in the hospital in the labour and delivery ward, i was having pains which they thought ould be my appendix, but they have since ruled that out, the pain seems to have subsided.

However, they checked my cervix and saw that I am 1cm dilated, they did a swab to check to see if my waters were leaking, this came back negative.

I am flying across the country (permanent move) in a week today. I have to see my obgyn again tomorrow for a follow up, but im obviously concerned.

She did not put me on bedrest. Anyone experience this?

I didn't want to stop by and not say anything. I can't offer any advice, because I never made it to 25 weeks. I have IC problems and pray I don't lose my babies this time around. I do know cervical problems are scary. Have they put you on bedrest? I know it may be too late for a cerclage, but with total bedrest for the next few weeks may be all you need to get your baby to a more developed term. Iwill be praying for you.

im not on bedrest but feel maybe i shuold be, ill check with my doc tomorrow.

Have you had babies before?
If so the cervix never fully goes back to normal so is referred to as a multips os and can often be 2cm open.
If you have no further pains and no waters leaking and no confirmed IC i'd be suprised they would put you on full bed rest but do take it easy and ask their opinion.

saw my doc today, seems im still only 1cm and no waters leaking, no bed rest!!
