Liver function, bile acids etc

today my midwife took more bloods to check for Obstetric Cholestasis. Just wondering if any one here has already been diagnosed with it? and what does it mean for the rest of my pregnancy??? any help would be appreciated!!

I have been diagnosed with it. Unfortunately it means greater risk for the baby and extreme discomfort for the mommy. Lots of weekly testing for baby and meds for mom. The itching is so intense at this point I wonder if I will be able to keep my sanity. Also usually involves early induction at 37 weeks. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.
