Improved NHS care/procedures needed

Hi,

Please do not delete this thread Mr or Mrs Adminstrator, it will potentially help save the lives of future babies (and Mums).

My wife and I recently lost our daughter Daisy after going full term to a Placental Abruption. We had no problems along the way and do not know if anything could have been prevented. We do however feel let down by the NHS in certain areas. With this in mind we have started the following official e-petitions:

They are called:
  • Improvements in the monitoring of babies/Mothers during pregnancy for low risk/first time Mums

and,
  • Stop the triage assessment of women in labour over the phone prior to admission

I can't post direct links to them due to the admin of this forum however if you search Google for the titles exactly as they are written above you will find them.

These have been approved by the Government and need 100,000 signatures each before Mar 2013. Please help, the subjects contained within these have and will affect thousands more. The people need to be heard and lives need to be saved at all cost!

If anyone feels that this thread could be placed better elsewhere then please let me know,

Thanks for your time.
