high bp protine in urine high urate in bloods

im worried im developing pre-eclampsia early.my bp was 160/100 today protein and blood in urine and a high urate level in bloods.
ive to go back tomorrow to have my bp and bloods taken again and the same on friday.ive been told if there is no change on friday ive to go into hosp which sucks cause i live on an island and i will have to go to a hospital near glasgow and as i have 2 teens my OH will have to stay home and look after them.
has anyone else been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia early on?can they treat it so baby has a chance to mature and survive?

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I was admitted into the hospital almost 2 weeks ago because of blood pressure. Started getting trace protein...which has since developed into more protein in my urine. I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia today. Right now I will be closely monitored. I was given steriod injections earlier in the week. But I am 32 weeks. Not sure what they do if it is diagnosed earlier on. Just wanted to wish you best of luck with everything.

My pre-eclampsia was picked up on at 25 weeks, but it could have been there earlier because I didn't have any midwife appointments between 16 and 25 weeks.

With me, they monitored me every day so that they could keep an eye on both Sophie and me, and make a decision to deliver her as soon as things got dangerous for one of us. They do keep the baby inside as long as they possibly can.

I was given steroid injections, and Sophie was born at 27 weeks but she did absolutely fine. I have friends whose babies were born at 23, 24 (pre-eclampsia) and 25 weeks and they're all ok.

How are things now?

xxxx

Hi, I had pre eclamptic symptoms from 29 weeks pregnant and through monitoring, treatment etc the midwives and antenatal unit got me to 35 weeks before inducing me. The bad news was that what was suspected pre eclampsia was in fact chronic kidney disease. I now follow a healthy diet and have lost weight all of which keep the pressure off all of my major organs...just be aware that things aren't always what they seem x

thanks for the replies........my urate levels were back to normal 2 days later and so far all my blood tests are comming back normal......my bp is 150/100 so im being taken into hosp on monday to be started on IV meds to try to get things under control.i still have trace amounts of protein in my urine that hasnt changed since the start of my preg.
im thinking maybe i need some scans to re-check organs because they havent been checked since i was 27 and im nearly 36.
just keeping my fingers crossed that im not in hosp for the rest of my preg and that baby will be delivered near its due date.
ive always avoided mobile phones but my OH has just ordered me an android phone so if i am in hosp for a while i can at least keep in touch with people and get on here.
