Home Birth and Epilepsy?

I just have a question. I'm not pregnant yet, but I am actively trying to conceive. I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 18, but I've had it since I was about 13. It isn't bad, I rarely have seizures as long as I take care of myself. In fact, I haven't really had more than a couple over the last couple years since I stopped taking seizure meds. When I do have seizures, they are usually absentee, which means I just blank out for about half a minute. But I have had a couple grand mauls and occasionally have convulsive seizures. I hate the idea of giving birth in a hospital, and being an epileptic, I really have to plan ahead, seeing as how even though I'm not pregnant yet, I'm already considered risky.

I guess my question is, is it still possible for me to have a home birth? Any of you have epilepsy and having or have had a home birth? Please share. My husband is down for whatever I want to do, but I don't want to put my future baby at risk because I hate hospitals.
