I've been lurking for a little while but thought I'd sign up and post!
I'm 29 next month, my husband is 33. We have been together almost 8 years, married since November last year.
We have been talking about TTC for the last year or so. The last couple of years have been taken up with planning our wedding. Everything in our life is ready for a baby, we own a home, have a fantastic relationship, savings, emotionally ready. The only thing we're waiting on is my husband getting a job. We're hoping that will be really soon. We're also going on our honeymoon in April and I don't want to be pregnant for that. But other than the job situation and waiting for our honeymoon we are ready to go!
I have a copper IUD so no hormones. I used to have irregular periods (often around 45 day cycles). I've been exercising and getting fit and healthy, lost a decent amount of weight and my cycles have become quite regular (around 31 days at the moment). I've just started using OPKs to get an idea of when I ovulate. I plan to start taking supplements and exercising even more and keeping up with healthy eating until we can start!
I'm looking forward to starting and getting to follow allow with others journeys!
