Hey everyone, I'm new here too (duh! I'm posting in the intro forum!)

New Zealand born & bred, I'm 26, hubby is 27. Married 18 months now, just decided to start TTC #1 a few months ago, but then *days* before O, hubby had a butchery accident (a minor cut on a finger, but enough to sever tendons and involve surgery and months off work etc!)

I'm not using anything to monitor my cycles except years of having pretty reliable EWCM 14-15 days before AF! I will stick with that for now before worrying about BBT and charting and OPK and stuff I think... I've not had any contraceptive in my system for years (around 5 years now) and I've always taken a vauge note of my cycles to be confident in them for now!

Sooo, fast forward to now, we did the BD 2 days before I guesstimate I O'd [the BD is still sporadic with his hand still in a splint much of the time, and the onset of more surgery coming in a couple of weeks...] and had a BFN at 11 DPO, so I'm waiting on AF (tomorrow or Monday) to carry on with another round...

Gee, I've only really had our first round, and even that wasn't a *real* try, and I'm already obsessing over wanting this pregnancy RIGHT NOW. hahaha! I'm lurking on far too many forums, learning the lingo so figured I really should make a post on my fav one so far; HERE!!! hehe.

So pending AF in the next day or two I'm likely to O again in the first week of Nov, right when hubby is going back in for more surgery. I'm being very selfish and hoping I O before he goes in so I get another chance for another month! But I guess we will see...

Looking forward to par-taking here a bit more now I've made the plunge to post!!

Welcome! I'm new here too....DH and I have been TTC our first for 10 months now. Talk about frustration! I'm 27 and DH is 33. Who knew getting pregnant could be so stressful!

We both had our hopes up for this last cycle, which lasted an abnormal (for me) 30 days. AF arrived today with a vengeance which is what prompted me to register on BnB. I think I need a little 'cyber support!'

Now I'm intrigued... I have varying cycle lengths, but it's the FP that varies a lot more than my LP. Generally, once I O (going by EWCM) AF comes along in 14-15 days. I'm at the end of 15DPO now and nothing. Trying soooooooooooooo hard not to read anything into it! I had a BFN at 11DPO so decided from there to wait for AF, who was *supposed* to show her head yesterday or today... It's nearly 9pm here though and no sign yet. I've decided if there's no sign by morning then I'll do another test before I go nuts. lol!

I don't except a BFP (I CAN'T expect one, I refuse to set myself up for disappointment. I can HOPE, but I won't EXPECT!!!) so we will see.... Ohh man, this is only our first round, and by all my lurking I can tell it doesn't get any easier every month! Silly body, all those people who get pregnant accidentally and then we have to try and try and try! I read a post on another forum though; because we are trying, we will be better. We will appreciate what we have for the heartache and trying to get our dream come true. And when we have a crying baby, we can be gad our dream is crying for us now. We will be better.
