Hello, I tried to do the above "Introduce yourself" thread..or add to it, but my computer is slooowww as molasses! So I will do it here...I'm from Northern Michigan (think the tip of the Pinky part of the state) I live in the Cherry Capital of the Country as well as the Home of GMA's (Good Morning America) Best Scoop of Ice Cream-Moomers and I think it was also GMA's Most Scenic Place in America-Sleeping Bear Dunes! It's a pretty darn cool place even if the rest of Michigan is in an economic slump. Im a 38 year old mom of two- One Bio and one stepchild. DD is 4 and Stepson is 12. I am a recently diagnosed PCOS-  Very frustrating!! But so glad to finally have a concrete answer! I pretty much diagnosed myself years ago, but it is so nice to have an Endo confirm it! We are trying for Baby number two, three years into it now. Crossing my fingers that things happen. My body knows how to grow a baby, but getting pg is the hard part. Clomid starts tomorrow..very nervous! Hubby is excited about all the BD'ing though lol. MEN!!!  My DD was conceived two months after our wedding-2006..we were trying for a smidge of time before our wedding though (Shhh....lol thank goodness she waited!) I was shocked when I found out because the first Endo I visited when I was 22 told me it would be very difficult for me to get pregnant and that I would likely need meds to do so. She was conceived 100% naturally  ! So here we are, Im older, my body is fighting me..but Im on Metformin (part-time..hard to remember to take it especially when it destroys my insides!) but I am now having almost regular periods..Im pretty sure my ovulation is wacked though hence the Clomid. Okay that pretty much sums up where I am coming from. My interests are on my profile page if anyone is interested. Thanks for taking the time to listen..advice is always accepted especially when it comes to this PCOS and Clomid/Met thing. Nice to meet you all!!  |
