urgh I'm so useless!!!

Madeleine was meant to have her induction day at her new school today and I completely forgot until now, when I saw my friend's facebook status!!

Now I'm going to have to go in tommorow or Friday and tell them how crap I am, and ask for all the things they got handed out, and ask when my home visit is going to be because apparently they got given the dates for that too!

URGH step 1 as a mummy of a school child = FAIL.

I know you must be annoyed you forgot, i would be too, but i am sure you will not be the only ones to miss it, either due to forgetting, sickness or holidays etc so i am sure other parents will be in same situation as you. Like you said you can ring school and get all the stuff. Dont worry there will be lots of stuff for you to go to when your lo starts school properly. the induction day is only one thing and its ages till sept so lo would probably not remember much anyway. x
