I had my bloody show at exactly 37 weeks, then no more signs for two weeks.

Throughout the Monday at 39+1 I had mild cramps. I was woken by a strong one at 4am on the Tuesday and started timing them, but they were irregular and short so I didn't believe I was actually in labour At 7am my waters broke. 9.30am found out I was 4/5cm dilated. Started pushing about 10.45am. By 11.30am my baby was born!

Chin up hun, I know how frustrating it is to have signs you'll be giving birth soon that lead to nothing Is there anything you can do to keep yourself busy, to stop you from obsessing over signs?

I never seen myself lose my show.

OnSaturday before I was due (was due Tuesday) my Dad took me, mum and OH for a curry to try and get me started. I had pains that night but then stopped at 11am.

Next night, I had a letter of my landlord saying I owed him more money, when I never, went into labour 4.30am Monday Morning

Baby girl will be here soon just enjoy the time you have now, I cant imagine life without my little girl now xx

Yes haha the OH is taking me out for dinner tomorrow so he'll keep my mind of it for awhile.. Although the cramps are becoming more and more painful.

Hi! I was 1-2 cm dilated and 75% effaced for a month or two. My son was down really really low and felt like he was going to come out of me for the last two months! My doctor told me that I would probably have him a week or so before my due date. He stripped my membranes to try to kickstart labor. Nothing happened. My due date came and went. The day before my due date, my doctor stripped my membranes again. He pulled out his hand and there was blood. When I saw that blood, I knew it probably worked that time and I would have my son soon! My dr. told me that he was going to induce me the next morning (2 days past my due date) at 7. At 4 am, I woke up and my water broke. I calmly woke up my hubby and told him it was time to go. Once I got about 6 cm dilated, I decided to get an epidural. Once I had that, it slowed down my contractions, so they had to give me petocin. About an hour or two later, I went from 6 cm to 10 cm in a matter of minutes! Then it was time to push for about 5-10 minutes, and it was over!!

Had very weak contractions on the Monday & Tuesday, did reflexology (I DO NOT recommend it as it made my LO very distressed!) on the Friday, then my waters went early morning Saturday which was my due date! 38 hours later our little boy was here

At 4 am, 2 days after my due date, I got up to pee and had some exta fluid and a little bit of bloody show come out. It happened every time I peed for the next 12 hours. I didn't have any contractions til 8 pm that night- no signs the baby was coming before that day.

Mine started very suddenly. I had a sweep 4 days before I went into labour, and was less than 1cm dilated, but aside from some bleeding and minor cramping, there was nothing. Then, at 7am on the day I gave birth as I was walking to the bathroom, my water broke. No contractions, I never lost my mucous plug (and if I did I never noticed). I went to the hospital and within 2 hours I was being induced because of high blood pressure. 6 hours later, Callum was here! I literally went from absolutely nothing to full blown active labour in less than 3 hours.

I was offered a stretch and sweep on the wednesday (41+2) but my cervix was completly closed, then on the thursday i lost my mucus plug but still no pains what-so-ever. Then on the friday (41+4) at 10pm my waters broke. Then about an hour later my contractions just started coming on very strong. Waited it out until 8.30 the next morning and went to hospital, by 11am i was 3cm, by 11pm i was 8cm. Ended up having EMCS after 31 hours.
