Induction booked - hospital bag packed! :D Do I need anything else?


Packed my hospital bag today for me and the twins, ready for my induction on the 19th Just wondered if you girls think I need to add anything else to it?

For me:
- 2 nighties (front opening ones for breastfeeding)
- 2 pairs of pjs
- lots of underwear!
- Breastpads
- Maternity pads
- Sanitary towels
- Towel
- Shower stuff

For the twins:
- 2 babygrows each
- 3 vests each
- 1 blanket each (hospital provide a couple)
- Hats
- Mittens
- Dummy each (I don't want to use them but just incase)
- Snuggle teddy each
- Nappies
- Wipes
- 2 Muslin cloths each

Extra:
- Ipod and charger
- Phone and charger
- Camera and charger

I would say take a few more baby clothes. We only took 3 grows as we didn't think it would turn into. A c section plus a 3 day stay. Summer was also very sicky and vomittied a few times a day. I made my oh go and bring more clothes because we ran out.

I agree with the lady above, a few more baby grows and vestsa
and either bibs or some more muslins.
Slippers
clothes to go home in
a couple of plastic bags for washing
And seeing as you're being induced, maybe a book or something to pass the time in the early stages x

bags for dirty clothes also id have more pj bottoms, i had my water broken and didnt want to be sat there naked so put some on and even though i had a pad it still managed to get me wet aswel! Change for vendum (sp?) machine, magazines or a puzzle book and loads to drink! x

id also bring a sweater or a robe in case it gets cold. i think that you and the ladies above got it well covered

Sounds good to me. Put in extra babygrows - pack a total of 8.

And for you... don't you want an outfit to wear? I packed clothes as I hated the thought of visitors in and out while I was in my PJs. I was dressed the first day and hair straighteneners and make-up too.

Also, it usually takes a few tries of different types of dummy before a baby will accept, they will most likely refuse the first type of dummy you try!!

You won't need sanitary towels, just lots of maternity pads, normal towels are too sore.

PJs are fine though if you just want to rest in them! xx
