Examinations are completely painless except for the contractions during them!

I don't know why it was sore hun, maybe something to bring up with your GP? I've had internal exams throughout my first pregnancy for bleeding and erosions and was only in pain once when the Dr put the speculum in wrong and caught my skin in it!! The internal exams in labour are actually much nicer cos it's just the Dr/midwifes fingers - no speculum or tools! It's uncomfortable but shouldn't cause any pain xx
