I had a great pink /purple sports type bag from tesco so maybe a fiver?!

It was fab - had a massive end pocket and two little front pockets so I could separate certain things.

I packed a separate bag for LO - just used the Nappy bag I'd got x

i am just using an old nike rucksack for me and i am using my changing bag as babys hospital bag

i didnt see the point in buying a new bag especially for labour because im tight

and because im tight i didnt see the point in buying a prepacked bag as its much cheaper to do yourself, and you would still have to add a few bits to it anyway

I also didnt got for a pre-packed bag & I have to say Im enjoying putting all the bits together myself!

I just did a small wheelable suit case (i wouldnt do anything you or Dh has to carry youll have enough stuff to carry out). The only thing I was really concerned about having was my makeup, blowdryer and bring the most comfortable clothes you have. Sweat or yoga pants are amazing with a loose T shirt (dont forget a bra I didnt and walked around braless for 2 days it was miserable)

I'm just using two overnight bags that we already have for when we go away for a weekend or for cabin baggage on a plane.

The first one is for labour and delivery, it has my nightie, dressing gown, slippers, wash bag, hairbrush etc and the first set of clothes for the baby plus a couple of nappies and maternity pads.

The second one is for the ward and has more nightwear, a pair of comfy trousers and a tshirt, lots and lots of maternity pads, a pack of nappies, and four changes of baby clothes.

I always packed my own bag. I only used one bag for both me and the baby. I tried to keep it simple since I knew we were going to have to carry more stuff out. I only packed a set of pj's, an outfit to wear home, and toiletries so I could shower for me and an outfit for the baby to wear home. Until time to get ready to leave, I always left the baby in the hospital shirts and used their blankets since those first few dirty diapers always leak and I decided to let that get all over their stuff instead of ours. I only packed my own pj's because I hate hospital gowns and I would buy a new set just to take with me. (I would wear them after, as well, of course, but didn't wear them for the first time until after baby is born)

I had just the one for mine and baby things. it was from new look and it's leopard print and it was £25. It's a fairly big size bag like a cabin bag you can take on a plane.
