Help please! Timing contractions

My waters have broken and I've been sent home to labour. I'm having contractions in my stomach. But also getting tightenings/pains on and off in my back. Do I time the time between the stomach ones or do I time both stomach pains and back pains? X

My contractions were tummy and back combined so it was a bit easier for me. There are some really good apps for smart phones for timing contractions.
