Shouldn't I know? :(

I'm 37 weeks with my second baby, and I've not felt her move for the past day.
Before that I'd been having some twinges and really bad back pains.

I've had started getting really bad pains again, they're a little like contractions but different to last time around. Shouldn't I know if these are contractions or not, being as this is my second baby?
I feel bloody useless!
Anyone with 2 or more babies, how did your births vary?
Thanks!
xox

Hey hun...I think that you if you haven`t felt you babe move within the last day I think you should contact your caregiver. Not trying to scare you but if you haven`t felt your LO move at all, not when you lie down, or eat or drink something, could be a worry! Please take care of yourself!

But yes what I have heard is that every pregnancy and labour are different...GL with your birth and keep us updated!

if ur sure u havent felt her move it may be best to ring the L&D ward instead of puttting it off, better safe than sorry. Not to scare you.

Even though you have a child already its still not always easy to tell. Labours can be totally different.

I would drink some sugary cold juice lie on your side in a quite room and try and monitor for movements.. if you dont feel your baby move I would call your MW and discuss it with her for sure.

yeah, drink some orange juice and lie down for a moment and feel for any movement. if you don't , I would go to L&D if I was you to make sure.

You could try eating some ice and lying down with a hand on your belly. if you still cant feel her, i wouldnt put off going to the hospital. It could be that she is in distress and if you go now they can get her out before anything bad happens. Sorry if this post is doom and gloom but nothing is more precious than our babies, you can never be too careful!

If you haven't felt her move at all please don't wait, call your Doctor, or go in and get checked. It's better to be safe than sorry.

No hun you need to call right away or go to the hospital if you have not felt your baby move for a day at 37 weeks!
